Jeff's bread and butter. Commonly, when you eat a large amount of enemies, it is advised to simply walk off an edge to insta kill them (and you). Determining whether to Jeffcide is determined by the following factors: how far is the drop (can characters with mobility tools survive), do these characters have mobility tools, are they an airborne character, is your team currently down a healer (excluding you). Answering these questions fast correctly allows for correct use of Jeff's ultimate.
Using Jeff's ultimate far enough away, it will become "silent". This is useful for more offensive Jeff's, but it is a double edged sword with Jeff's ultimate buff in season 4. You will losing the healing field, and MUST land nearly all of the enemy team to get value.
Jeff has some of the best survivability in the game, provided you are cautious and don't leave yourself open. Hide and seek, coupled with a healing bubble, provides a large amount of healing for Jeff. Using proper positioning and watching for divers (specifically Black Panther, Magik, and Spiderman due to his pull), Jeff can survive much more independently than other healers.
Funny, but not necessarily good. Trojan shark requires you to eat your own team, and spit them directly into the enemy. In a coordinated attack, this can be good, but generally, it's more of a joke strategy.
Simply, Jeff can "climb" walls using hide and seek. Holding space allows Jeff to swim up walls, and using this, you can juke people chasing you. Run into a room, swim onto a wall, and Jeff will "bounce" off the wall, allowing him to sneak out with no consequence. Jeff can also just "bounce" off any wall, but it's more useful in order to juke enemies.
